Senator Orin Hatch’s Assistant Jessa Reed visits CEP programs June 8

Jessa Reed representing Senator Orin Hatch visited CEP afterschool summer programs June 8 at 3 of our 23 partner schools – Hunter High, Stansbury Elementary and Kennedy Jr. High. Jessa spent 5 hours learning about afterschool programs in West Valley City.  She learned about the importance of 21st Century grants, and the need to continue congressional funding to ensure the outcomes of our children and youth will lead them to a productive and independent future.
